The United Airlines makes a headline by losing a whopping amount of $800 million in just one day in the market capitalization. The value of the Company has fallen badly after the Asian Doctor’s Assault. The value of United Airlines was more than $750 million which has dropped to $22.5 billion. This incident happened on Monday wherein the passenger was in bold and dragged off the flight. This incident spread across the social media and the video of the same has been viral on all the social websites. United Airlines is currently facing a huge loss beyond the limits. The United Airlines market cap has slid to $21.70 billion at the time of Publication.

Oscar Munoz, CEO’s note to Employees!

To wipe out the matter, the United’s CEO Oscar Munoz has stepped his support with the decision of the United Airlines staff who decided to remove the passenger from the flight who was on the other side refusing to give up his seat. The CEO has written a note to the United Employees which read as you will read, “this situation was unfortunately compounded when one of the passengers we politely asked to deplane refused. It became necessary to contact Chicago Aviation Security Officers to help. While I deeply regret this situation arose, I also emphatically stand behind all of you and I want to commend you for continuing to go above and beyond to ensure we fly right.”

Oscar Munoz, CEO’s note to Employees!

As read in the note, the CEO shares his support for the employees and stands firm with the step of dragging of the passenger off the plane under the situation aroused at that time.

As per the sources and reports, the passenger who was dragged off from the plane was David Dao, 69 years old. This passenger was smashed into an armrest way before dragging of the plane. David was bleeding and his face was covered in blood. He ran back inside the plane refusing to go out and was repeatedly uttering the words “just kill me”. After such an incident, the CEO had also made an apology to the customers who were re-accommodated because of the situation. The CEO though could not stop the dropping of the value in the market capitalization, assures to resolve the situation and be back right with the same fluency and happy flying.
