The Bollywood stuntman and versatile actor, Akshay Kumar won his first ever national Award this year in the Industry for the best actor in the film “Rustom”. Working for like many years now in the industry, the actor was never awarded any being the first time was very special for him. Soon this has become the talk of the town and there was huge criticism seen being made on winning the award by the actor. Being familiar with the goings around, the actor on this Monday had urged to take the award back if the people feel that he did not deserve to win the award for the role played in the film Rustom.
There were huge arguments being aroused and to meet with criticism the decision was said to be unfair. The entire matter turned void and when the actor was asked about the issue he replied saying, “I have been hearing it for past 25 years, whenever someone wins, there is some discussion around it. This is not new. Someone or the other always creates a controversy. He should not have won the other person should have. “The 49-years old Akshay Kumar had given his almost 25 years in the industry and he further says that I won an award after 26 years of being in the industry and if you feel I don’t deserve it, take it back from me. It’s okay.
Akshay Kumar said to do the impossible!
On the other side, the actor Akshay Kumar is making things possible which were considered to be impossible by starting up the Insurance schemes for the stunt men and stunt women in the industry. This man truly deserves every bit of award not only for his role in the movie but also for being way more generous human being in spite of being a man of such stardom.
Akshay Kumar was also later asked that will he consider the Padma Bhushan for his philanthropic work in the future and his reply was, “You have to do major work to earn such an award. Only then people can feel you deserve the award. We keep doing these things for our stuntmen whatever we can in our capacity.” At the same time, the actor had also appreciated the efforts of the stunt artists and says that it is really good that the work is apprenticed and wishes that more people will acknowledge their hard work in the industry.
