In an unbelievable and synchronized match between India and Pakistan, Pakistan defeated India, the host of this cricket league, by 8 wickets. In spite of their victory on the land of their rivalry’s, the spectators applauded the victory of winning team open heartedly.
The match took place at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium which is located in the capital of our country. Pakistan’s team player, Zafar, contributed a total of 88 runs that proved to be the strongest factor of Pakistan’s victory. This match was one of the on-going matches in the T20 World Cup league for the blind.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan, Abdul Basit, was invited as the chief guest for this match. After the match, Abdul said, “Bahut acha laga. Mein pehli dafa ek blind cricket match dekh raha hoon. Match ka mahoul aur Pakistan ko jeete hue dekhkar bahut khushi hui. I seriously hope we meet India in the finals, and it would be even better if they can beat them there”.
The Pakistani team got an overwhelming support from the crowd of Delhi. Abdul Basit was impressed after watching such a support from Indian spectators. Pakistan is focussing on their new talent by streamlining the process of selection by conducting proper trials and camps.
