It was a touching moment when the ‘Aashiqui 2’ stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor met up with the original ‘Aashiqui’ pair. Anu Aggarwal & Rahul Roy turned overnight stars through this romantic musical released in the year 1990. More than two decades after the hit movie in which the lead pair’s chemistry captured the audience by storm, another released. This time it was the on-screen romantic pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor whose chemistry rocked the nation yet again. Now they continue to be known and captured on screen as the ‘romantic couple’ with great chemistry. It was the production house called Vishesh Films that gave the country these romantic darlings. They have finished their 30 years in the industry. So, to celebrate the great journey so far the movie production house did a special screening of ‘Begum Jaan,’ their next offering.
Amidst all the celebrations in the movie production house, the highlight was at the time the original Aashiqui met up with the Aashiqui 2 pair. Of course Rahul Roy was missing in the pic but that did not stop the touching moments captured on camera. The original 1990 Aashiqui Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori with the present generation Aashiqui 2 pair Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur posed. It was definitely a touching moment. A generation later, more than two decades later the magic was recreated on screen. This stole the hearts of millions across the nation that drew a new definition to Bollywood romance. The on-screen love pair were again seen together in the romantic ‘OK Jaanu’ which took their on screen romance to even greater heights.
It was Shraddha who shared the lively and touching moment captured on camera. She took to her Instagram account and the star wrote. “Celebrating!!! Will always be so proud to be a part of this. #30YearsOfVisheshFilms #AashiquiMeetsAashiqui2.” The image will undoubtedly take the fans back to the amazing Bollywood musical romance onscreen by Rohit Roy and Anu Aggarwal in 1990. It takes those of the prior generations down pleasant memory lane. For the present generation back then, Bollywood had an entirely varied form of romance where dancing in fields and getting drenched in the rain was the norm for most romantic tales. Now there are more toward reality movies being produced and the addition of female centric roles in the lead shows a great change in the Bollywood film industry.
