Akshay Kumar or the Khiladi of Bollywood is mostly known for his discipline and strict daily routine. Apart from this he is the one who came to be known as the action star of Bollywood. He is the one megastar who have at least 3-film release every year and manage to flair at box office too. However, there are few of the facts, which are not known to the world of Akshay Kumar. Before entering to Bollywood, Akshay Kumar used to work in Bangkok and Thailand. However, apart from working he used his time in learning some of the martial arts like Muay Thai. Akshay Kumar is also a Black Belt in Taekwondo. No wonder that is why he ruled the industry with his action stunts!

2) Rajiv Bhatia aka Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is the stage name or can say the Bollywood name of Rajiv Bhatia. Akshay’s Real name is Rajiv Bhatia and he was born to Aruna Bhatia and Hari Om Bhatia in Amritsar. His production house is named after his father, Hari Om productions.

Akshay Kumar moved abroad in search of good job and be stable economically. However, initially while in Bangkok, Akshay has worked as a waiter and even was a cook in a small restaurant. His down to earth personality comes from the upbringing and survival he had!

Akshay wanted to try his hands on modelling so he came back to India leaving his job in Bangkok. He did some modelling projects and even was seen as martial art teacher in Mahesh Bhatt’s movie Aaj. Akshay Kumar auditioned in Aamir Khan’ Jo Jeeta wai Sikandar for Dipak Tijori’s role but he got rejected. One morning he missed his flight for Bangalore where he had to shoot an ad but that missed flight begin his career and he got the lead role in the movie Deedar the same day.

7) Akshay shot a movie without Climax

In his last stint to Koffee with Karan, Akshay Kumar himself said that he is a big Sridevi Fan. He got the chance to work with her in a film called Meri biwi ka Jawab Nahin. The funny part is the movie did not have a climax because it was never shot. The producer ran away and the film released without climax.

8) Akshay Movie holds Guinness Book record

Akshay Kumar’s movie “Boss” entered Guinness World of Records claiming the largest movie poster. Earlier the record was in the name of Michael Jackson for” This is it”. Later on the 2015 movie “Baahubali” broke the record of Akshay Kumar’s Boss movie for largest poster.

9) Production House for Low Budget Films

Akshay Kumar is really good with financing and that is evident with his hit movie releases every year. Infact to support low Budget films, Akshay Kumar launched a production house named Grazing Goats. Under the production banners films like OMG- Oh My God, Fugly, Singh is Bling, 72 Miles and Bhaji in Problem has been produced.
