The much awaited flick of Shradda Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, Half-girlfriend is all released worldwide and the fans have went to see the films and had come out with their reviews. The film Half-girlfriend is a film directed by Mohit Suri and it is romantic based genre. The film seems to collect no good response from the audience and the film has also secured poor rating from the movie critics. The film of Shradda and Arjun seems to have no splurge winning hearts of the audience which will defiantly have a huge impact at the box office collection.
The director Mohit Suri has made this film based on the book by Chetan Bhagat and led to irresponsible affair to be a stalker to be note. The film is said to have no good points to discuss hear accepts for the songs that got popular on social sites and liked by the people. Talking about the film Half Girlfriend, it features the story of Madhav Jha, a boy from Bihar who has a willingness to study sociology but seems to face difficulty in speaking English. He is the odd student of the famous St Stephens College where he falls in love with a girl playing basketball.
Soon later Madhav gets a strong point to inform his mother a good reason to stay back in Delhi. Riya, the other side is the girl Madhav fell for and she wills to play basketball with him. Riya belongs to well do family living in a huge house and Madhav comes from a troubled family. Riya dreams of playing guitar and perform in a New York bar but her parent’s does not allow her to do so. She is a spoilt daughter who is seen abusing her mother many times.
The story begins where Madhav gets friends with Riya and slowly Riya loves to send time with Madhav and initially falls for him. They are just 19 and at this age to tag someone as a girlfriend would be entailed and so she is termed to be Half-girlfriend, a person more than friends but less than girlfriend. There is nothing unusual the audience gets to see in the film and the similar story was seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil movie. The storyline of Half Girlfriend seems to be boring and no fun eye casting sceens are said to be there developing the interest in the audience watching it.
