In December, rumours were doing rounds about Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together after 20 years in Kabir Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Tubelight’. But when Shahrukh was asked about the cameo role, he kept mum about the same.
Two days back, Tubelight director Kabir Khan shared a picture on his Instagram about the special role of Shah Rukh Khan in the film. He posted a call sheet, “Aayenge, Mere Karan Arjun aayenge, Zameen ki chaati phad ke aayenge, aasmaan ka seena cheer ke aayenge.”
Tubelight is ready to be released on Eid 2017 and the excitement level for all the fans to see Salman Khan’s much-awaited movie is super high. With this news, fans are now more excited to see ‘Karan-Arjun’ together after 20 years.
The news started when film trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted about Shah Rukh featuring in a cameo role in Tubelight, but she deleted the tweet later and the news became a much-talked rumour. As per the news tabloid, Shah Rukh Khan is playing a role of a magician in Tubelight. The face tattoo that Shah Rukh has been seen sporting in the recent photos was for the role in the film.
Now, Kabir Khan has himself confirmed the news with the post on his Instagram account with a picture of him and Shahrukh Khan with the face tattoo.
The movie is set in the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war, the story is of a mentally challenged man who crosses the border to reach China, looking for his lost brother, and there he falls in love with a Chinese girl. Starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Paras Arora and Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, Tubelight is scheduled to release in theatres on Eid, this year.
