Amitabh Bachchan is now the proudest Dad today as someone from his family has finally carried forward the legacy of his father, the great poet Harivanshrai Bachchan. And she is his doting daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Yes, Shweta Bachchan will soon become a published author. Big B is on cloud nine as the publishing company recently announced the launch date of Shweta’s debut novel, titled ‘Paradise Towers’, which will hit the bookshelves in the month of October.
Big B shared a snippet of the announcement made by the publishers on his Instagram account and wrote, “THE PROUDEST-FATHER .. my daughter the best and GREATEST !! 😍😍😎❤️🌹🌹🌷”
In a Facebook post, the publisher of Shweta’s novel described Paradise Towers as “a heart-warming slice-of-life novel set in a Mumbai apartment.”
The eldest child of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta is settled in Delhi with her husband Nikhil Nanda who is a businessman and her two children Navya Naveli and Agastya. Although, she is seen most of the time in Mumbai at her parent’s residence. Recently, the newbie writer celebrated her mother Jaya Bachchan’s 75th birthday with her family.
Unlike her parents and sibling, Shweta who once described herself as the shy member of the family chooses her grandfather’s field, that is writing, but not a poetry. Her parents, Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan and her younger brother, Abhishek Bachchan are the leading actors of Bollywood, along with her brother’s wife, Aishwarya Rai.
Although Amitabh is also fond of writing and doing poetry, none of his works has been published, nor is he an official writer. This way, Shweta is the first member of the family, after Harivanshrai Bachchan to have published a book.
However, Shweta walked the ramp for famous designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla in 2016. Amitabh Bachchan proudly shared his daughter’s pictures doing a ramp walk for the designers.

We are also excited for the Bachchan’s daughter to make her debut in writing and are keenly looking forward to the novel. We wish Shweta All the best for the future in her career.
