The man who deserves respect!
In this world on insanity and selfishness, it is hard to find someone who could even bother to think of others who are no way related to them. In such big world on being inhuman, comes a man with noble heart who deserves all the respect for his gestures he do every day probably not known by all of us. Meet the man Dr Uday Modi, doctor of Mumbai by profession, who has put aside all the negativity as makes us to think the way of looking at people in today’s world differently. Uday Modi has been a wonderful Doctor in the City that never sleeps, Mumbai and is dedicating his life and entire savings by doing a noble cause.
Uday Modi, a resident of Bhayandar feeds 500 people daily with food. He serves food to 500 helpless senior citizens daily for almost a decade. The man is serving the people without charging any single amount of money in return from them and only seeks for blessings of those helpless people. When he was asked about the idea of this noble plan, Uday Modi said, “One of my patients was an old fellow; he must have been around 78. He showed up at my door, all helpless. His wife was chronically ill and could not do anything on her own. This couple was old, poor without even 10 rupees to buy a Vada Pao. He said he needed food, it moved me and that is when I decided that I want to feed the needy elderly for nothing in return.”
Uday Modi, you truly win all the hearts of the people reading about you for your great deed and you truly are an inspiration to all of the people. Modi hails from Amreli Gujarat who shifted to the City Mumbai to practice the alternative medicine course. Uday also works as an artist in movies and TV shows apart from being a doctor. Dr. Modi has further applied the routine in his life of serving the needy and he started the “Shravan Tiffin Service” from his house with full support of his wife Kalpana Modi. More than 200 tiffins prepared in the kitchen every day and the meals are prepared for the diabetic patients in the separate kitchen keeping all the precautionary measures in the notice.
