There was one guy who really inspired the movie “3 Idiots” and his name is Sonam Wangchuk. Recently, Sonam Wangchuk visited a government school in Delhi so as to attend the happiness class organized over there. He didn’t come along for the happiness class and Odisha’s Education Minister Samir Ranjan was also with him during the visit.
Wangchuk said, “Education is as much about software as it is about the hardware. Delhi’s government school infrastructure is commendable but today I am very impressed by the work being done on children’s mental well being. Governments across states must rise above politics and work towards introducing such programs.”

The duo was accompanied by Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia when they visited Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in West Vinod Nagar. The minister from Odisha said that he found the children very happy during the class and making them happier helps them to concentrate more on their studies. He also congratulated Sisodia and his government for coming up with such an initiative.
He said that he will also discuss with the Odisa chief minister to implement the same in the schools over there.
A fifteen day long “Happiness Utsav” is being celebrated in the schools by Delhi government on behalf of completing one year of the happiness curriculum. During the class the students are seen meditating and relaxing while going on with their tasks. They were free to exchange their ideas and discuss various topics with anyone. After 45 minutes of time, the book will arrive for the students.
