Pink was a movie that glorified women empowerment. The movie completes its 4 years on 16th September. It is a memorable film for actress Taapsee Pannu. The Big B starrer movie gave her a lot of experiences, which she thinks will show the way to her in the future.
On the 4th anniversary of ‘Pink’, the actress has shared her memories from the time of filming the movie.
The Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s movie left a great effect on the making of films. It had created a new genre. It was about three girls Taapsee, Andrea Tariang and Kirti Kulhari. A politician’s son had harassed them. Then the girls moved on and went to court. Amitabh Bachchan was beside them as a lawyer. On completion of the fourth year of the hit movie, Taapsee has shared her experience when she worked with Big B.
Taapsee told that working with such a legend was very tough. She had to overcome the thought that she was sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan. The actress shared that she treated Amitabh as a young co-star and built chemistry with him. In her words, “I enjoy his company as a co-star and not treat him like a legend.”
Some scenes of the movie were filmed in New Delhi, which is the hometown of Taapsee. So, during the filming of ‘Pink’, she returned home every day which seemed different to her. Taapsee told that sometimes she took the metro to reach the sets or drove herself.
Angad Bedi who played a negative role in the movie also recalled the moments of filming. He shared a note saying, “@thefilmpink released today on 16th September the film that not just changed our society but also our lives.”
