Shefali Shah, one of Bollywood’s most outstanding actresses, yesterday disclosed that she turned down roles in successful films like as ‘Neerja’ and ‘Kapoor and Sons’.

When a fan asked Shefali to identify a movie she rejected that went on to become a blockbuster during an Instagram Q&A session, she replied, “Many.. ‘Kapoor and Sons’, ‘Neerja’.”

Shefali has also disclosed some surprising facts about herself. When asked how she selects her scripts, she responded that she chooses something genuinely hits her heart and gut. Although having proven her worth as an actor with movies such as ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Juice’, ‘Once Again’, and ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’, Shefali believes she still has a lot to learn as an artist.

She responded to a fan who asked her for acting tips by saying that everyone forges their own path and progresses at their own speed. She further said, “I am still learning myself. What tip I will give to someone. I absolutely have no tips.”

The actress made her film debut in the 1995 drama Rangeela, and later appeared as a supporting actress in the crime film Satya. She gained widespread appreciation and won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2007 for her performance in ‘The Last Lear’. She also starred in the highly lauded 2015 dramedy Dil Dhadakne Do. Reportedly she will next be seen in Doctor G, Delhi Crime 2, Humans and Darlings.
