Half Full is a short film, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Vikrant Massey. The short film is expected to be in the race of Oscar Awards after winning the ShortsTV’s Best of India Short Film Festival 2019. Half Full is a 12-minute long short film directed by Karan Rawal and it focuses on the life of a young man, played by Vikrant, who is undergoing some internal disturbances.

Vikrant was when asked about his views on the little market for short films in India and whether it is widening or not, he said – “Yes, the market is indeed widening. With a number of platforms opening up through OTT content and untouched topics, the audience is more receptive to new content”.

He was also asked about his experience of working with veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. He replied – “Naseer sir is a veteran in the industry and it was an honour to be working with him. There is always so much to learn. I have always looked up to him. It is an amazing experience to share screen space with someone like him. In fact, I’m also looking forward to collaboration in Pindhaan”.

Vikrant, the 32-year-old actor was asked about the film, to which he had said that the film focuses on internal disturbances within a young man. He hopes the film can bring about change in today’s generation where they would be more open to speak about disturbing issues they might be having within themselves and can open up to someone. He hopes the film can encourage the audience to be more vocal about their feelings and internal thoughts and not suppress them.

On the film front, Vikrant Massey would next be seen opposite Deepika Padukone in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak.
