Alia Bhatt finally made her debut at MET Gala debut this year and made sure to make every head turn. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress walked the red carpet looking gorgeous in a white gown with pearl embellishment all over it by designer Prabal Gurung.
The actress complimented her look with matching earrings and gloves. She styled her hair in slicked-back hair with a middle parting. Sharing her pictures on her Instagram handle, Alia wrote, “I have always been fascinated by the iconic Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfield shone through in the most innovative and awe-inspiring couture.” She added that her look for the event was inspired by supermodel Claudia Schiffer.
Alia also wished to give her outfit an Indian touch, so she brought in pearls. She revealed that her dress has around 1,00,000 pearls.
Alia’s appearance at the MET Gala event comes ahead of her debut Hollywood film Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot.
As the actress arrived at the venue, she was greeted by the fans waiting to get a glance at her. In one of the videos from the event, the fans can be heard screaming, “Alia, I love you.” The actress, being a sweetheart, replied, “I love you too” with a heart gesture with her hands.
