Star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became parents to a cute baby girl on November 6. The couple named their baby Raha Kapoor. However, that is not all. Alia has also served major inspiration for many new moms. She posted an image of her doing an inversion and talked about her fitness journey post partum. It’s simply been one and half months since her delivery however she’s obviously back with a bang. The actress penned that one and a half months after her pregnancy, after gradually re-building her connection with my core, “and with full guidance from my teacher @anshukayoga I was able to attempt this inversion today.”
She added that to her fellow mamas, listening to your body post-delivery is key. Do not do anything your gut tells you not to. For the 1st week or 2 during her workouts, all she did was breathe, walk, and find her stability and balance again. “Take your time – appreciate what your body has done.” She also added that after what her body did this year she has taken a vow to never be hard on herself again.
The actress concluded by saying that baby birth is a miracle in every possible way and giving your body that love and backing that it gave you is the least we can do. “P.S – every body is different – pls speak to your doctor before doing anything that involves exercise.”
