The news of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana being postponed had been making rounds on the social media. However, the reports were rubbished by the film producer Madhu Mantena. Now, another buzz has stirred online which has been revolving around the role of Goddess Sita. If the reports are to be believed Alia Bhatt has bagged the role instead of Sai Pallavi and this has netizens fuming in anger.
A source has informed Pinkvilla that Alia has always been the first choice for Sita, but back then the dates of the actress did not match due to multiple reasons. “But with all the delays, Nitesh and producer Madhu Mantena have gotten back to their first choice and the actress is excited to play a character that could stay with her for a lifetime,” stated the source. The news agency further added that even Ranbir Kapoor, who is roped in to play Lord Ram, is all geared up for this new divine journey.
