Popular South Indian film star Allu Arjun took to Twitter to announce the good news that his 4-year-old daughter Allu Arha is all set to make her acting debut as she has been cast in the role of Prince Bharata for Gunasekhar’s upcoming mythological drama titled Shaakuntalam.
The film also stars actress Samantha Akkineni in the titular role. This debut is extremely special for the Allu family as with Allu Arha’s debut, it marks the fourth generation of the Allu family in South Indian cinema. Allu family is a celebrated clan down south. Allu Arjun was extremely elated as he shared the news on his Twitter handle.

Allu Arjun further talked about his journey with Samantha Akkineni and said that he was grateful that his daughter was getting the golden opportunity to make her debut alongside her.He further wished the entire cast and crew the best of luck for the project.
Gunasekhar, a celebrated filmmaker will helm the project as director. Apart from Samantha, the project stars Dev Mohan as Dushyanta, the king of Puru Dynasty, Aditi Balan and Mohan Babu will play supporting roles in the film. The film is based on a popular Indian play Shakuntala written by Kalidasa.
