Ashneer Grover, former MD and co-founder of BharatPe, is returning to TV with the new season of MTV’s Roadies 19. A new promo starring gang leaders, host Sonu Sood and Ashneer have been released by the makers. His small presence in the video left his fans surprised. Some individuals trolled and taunted the entrepreneur for appearing on the reality show, calling him ‘dogla.’ Grover would be joining the gang leaders for a special round.
Dropping the promo on Instagram, the channel penned, “Ab tak toh bas tumne suni hai karm ya kaand ki baatein, ab dekhoge bhi. Ready ho for the mahayudh? MTV Roadies – Karm Ya Kaand, co-powered by @wildstoneofficial , starts from 3rd June, every Sat & Sun at 7PM only on MTV & JioCinema.” In the video, gang leaders Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati were shown bidding for contestants. And then Ashneer appears and could be heard saying, “Bheek hi maang raha hai na bhai. Ki lelo mereko.”
Just after the video went viral, internet users began criticising the former Shark Tank India judge for showing up on the show. One commented, “Ashneer Grover in Roadies. Kya chalra hai, kya kar rahe ho?.” Another commented, “@ashneer.grover sir kis line m aa gye aap.”
