Who says preferential treatment is all that helps in earning fame in Bollywood? Even though we are in agreement that star kids do get it easy in the start owing to their well-known parents and filmy links but then, the destiny of any performer is not settled by their parents but by the viewers in the end.

Here are a few star kids who failed to shine in Bollywood

Esha Deol

Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter entered Bollywood with ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’ in 2002 which got accompanied by a series of unfortunate releases.

Tanishaa Mukerjee

Tanuja’s daughter and Kajol’s sister, Tanishaa failed to make big in Hindi cinema as she failed to woo audience with her acting skills.

Uday Chopra

Yash Chopra’s son couldn’t do much to make an impact on the viewers. Right from his initial film ‘Mohabbatein’ (2000) to his very last look in ‘Dhoom 3’ (2013), audience only got to see Uday Chopra in a handful of movies and disappointedly not many of his flick are worth remembering.

Athiya Shetty

Suneil Shetty’s daughter was seen with Sooraj Pancholi in Hero. Things remained okay and she got her second movie Mubarakaan co-featuring Arjun Kapoor that bagged a decent response.

Harshvardhan Kapoor

Harshvardhan Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s dashing son and Sonam Kapoor’s brother entered the film biz with Mirzya.

His second movie, Bhavesh Joshi was also a big dud. He is not a bad actor but sometimes it’s all about luck.

Jackky Bhagnani

Son of ace film maker Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky worked in the film Kissne Dekha’ in the year 2009 but the 2011 reasonable victory ‘F.A.L.T.U’ was his only positive moment in the film world. He also worked in films such as ‘Youngistaan’, ‘Welcome to Karachi’ and Mitron but again, he failed to woo viewers.
