Aaliya, estranged wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, had entered the house of Bigg Boss OTT 2 with high hopes of making a career out of it with her own identity. However, the aspiration of the filmmaker came crashing down as she has been evicted from the Salman Khan hosted reality TV show.
Along with Aaliya, Jiya Shankar was also nominated by the contestants this week. On Tuesday, Bigg Boss came with a mid-week twist and announced that the audience will be taking over the game and eliminating one contestants. Since Aaliya received lesser votes than Jiya, she had to bid farewell to her friends in the house.
Aaliya had quite an unpredicted journey in the reality show. On her participation, she was touted to be among the strong contestant, who would be vocal and dramatic. However, she turned out to be quite soft-spoken woman and seemed somewhat reserved to herself. She did share a close bond with Abhishek Malhan, Akanksha Puri, and Manisha Rani.
She maintained her distance from Bebika Dhurve, as the latter would get into fight with others at the drop of a hat. She had a showdown with Pooja Bhatt, where she called her dominating. Pooja had asked Aaliya to not play the victim card by talking about her broken marriage.
