Various education boards in India are gearing up to conduct the final board examination for the students of the batch 2020-21. Due to the worldwide health crisis, schools and educational institutes were asked to close their gates to curb the spread of infection. Pertaining to which the students attended the lecture on-line.
Meanwhile, as the CBSE Board exams of 2021, are approaching for classes 10 and 12, the students are expressing their confusion regarding the syllabus and paper pattern for the upcoming exam. The exams will be conducted off-line across the country.
Many students who will be appearing for the CBSE board exams in 2021 are uncertain regarding the paper pattern and syllabus of the class 10 social science examination. The paper is scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2021.
With so many students expressing their concern, the Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a statement to clarify all the doubts. Earlier, the education board had asked its students to not pay any heed to fake news and rumours regarding the conduction of the CBSE board exam 2021.
The CBSE board made an announcement that the parents and students should only refer to the information passed on to them by its official website, and not any external information floating on the internet.
Last year, the CBSE board had made an announcement that the syllabus for the students of classes 10 and 12 appearing for board examination in 2021, will be reduced by 30 percent as a one-time measure for this academic year only.
The step was taken owing to the on-going health crisis and the loss of academics experienced by the students this year due to the conduction of lectures online. However, many students argued that the syllabus must be further reduced as many were not able to attend online classes.
Meanwhile, despite several rumours making rounds, the CBSE board has not made any decision regarding the reduction of the syllabus of class 10 social sciences.
The Central Board of Secondary Education board examination will commence from May 4, 2021. The examinations are scheduled to end in June 2021. The datasheets for class 10 and class 12 have been updated on the official website of CBSE.
