The Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans on Monday night to clinched on to its fifth IPL win. Mahendra Singh Dhoni led team defeated Hardik Pandya led team by five wickets (D/L method). In the rain curtailed match, CSK scored 171 at the loss of 5 wickets inside a maximum of 15 overs. Ravindra Jadeja proved to be the star player as he scored 10 runs in the last balls to help the team win IPL 2023.
The CSK’s fifth title has levelled them with Mumbai Indians for most titles in the tournament history. The celebrations went on till late in the dressing room at the Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium. During their celebration, the players also created a viral trendy reel with their IPL trophy.

The fans filled the Narendra Modi stadium to the brim for two days as the match was postponed to the reserve day due bad weather.
Now, the major question remains, where MS Dhoni will return for IPL’s second season or not. It was earlier speculated that this season might be his last, but there has been no confirmation from the skipper. As per the latest reports, Dhoni is likely to undergo surgery for his left knee, as it has been badly injured. But, nothing is confirmed for that too.
