Mrs. Seema Dhaka was posted as a Head Constable at northwest Delhi’s Samaypur Badli station. She has given a special ‘out-of-turn promotion’ for finding the lost kids under the program. After the promotion, she will be handling her duties with the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector. She is the daughter of a farmer from Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli area.

‘I am happy that my efforts have been recognized. This will motivate me, and probably will encourage others too. All the children I traced were during the pandemic,’ said Seema Dhaka.

Further, she talked about the challenges she faced during this work. The cop said as the trains were not moving due to the lockdown, traveling from one place to another in Delhi was difficult. Finding addresses of the kids was also a major challenge in this mission. She further thanked the families and friends for supporting her in finding out the maximum number of kids in a short span.

As per the reports, out of 76 found children, 56 are below 14 and some of them have brought back from West Bengal and Punjab as well. What the star cop Seema Dhaka has done is truly an inspiration for all of us.
