Popular family drama named ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ is experiencing a tough time. Be it the unexpected exit of main jodi of the show including Sidharth Shukla and Rashmi Desai or introduction of new actors Rohan Gandotra and Iqbal Khan (Shukla & Desai) or the leap… all things failed to impress the viewers.

The show has continuously been recording a decline in its ratings.

The most recent hum doing the rounds is that the popular small screen show, Dil Se Dil Tak, will go off air on May 28.

At first, ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ commenced with Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin playing the lead roles. But, things took ‘U’ turn when the main actor Sidharth got involved in conflicts with the producers of the show and finally give up the popular show during December 2017.

When media people met the show’s main lead Jasmin, she answered, “I think these are all rumours and the show cannot go off air. If it were to really happen, it would be the saddest moment for me. There were low ratings registered in the last few weeks but that is just a phase. This happens to all the shows. I think the show always had a good concept and it should continue.”

The actors working in the show are not positive regarding the fate of Dil Se Dil Tak.

On the other hand, Rohan said that anything can happen, “It’s true that the ratings are not as high as we had expected them to be. I feel that the viewers were not able to connect with the track that revolved around one man living with two wives. Also, the ongoing cricket tournament is eating into the viewership of almost all fiction shows. I am not aware of the show going off air yet, but it is highly possible.”

The show got started during the month of January in 2017.

The show gets its inspiration from Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta starrer named Chori Chori Chupke Chupke that hit theatres in the year 2001.
