Dipika Kakar, well known for her role in the famous TV drama Sasural Simar Ka, has lately made headlines. The actress and her actor spouse Shoaib Ibrahim gladly happily announced their pregnancy, a couple of ago, bringing joy to their fans. In an unexpected change of events, Dipika has now disclosed her decision to leave the acting world.
Speaking to Telly Chakkar about the same, the actress said that she enjoying this stage of pregnancy and welcoming their first baby. “The excitement is on another level. I started working at a very young age and continued for about 10 – 15 years at a stretch.” She added that as her pregnancy journey started, she told her husband that she didn’t want to work and that she wanted to quit acting. “I want to live a life as a housewife and mother.”
For the unversed, Dipika made her television debut in 2010 as Lakshmi in Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. In addition, she played Rekha in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The actress was most previously seen as Sonakshi in Star Plus’ Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. Her performance as the character was praised by the audience. The actress has proven her mettle by winning Bigg Boss Season 12, adding another star to her crown.
