Fast Furious is a much-loved movie franchise with die-hard fans around the globe. The movie has 8 films in the series already and is now finally releasing its 9th part in India. The movie held it world premiered in South Korea on May 19. The film was released in theatres across the world on June 25. India was still grappling with the horrifying second wave of the coronavirus pandemic at the time. Hence the movie was delayed and will now be released on August 5th in India.
Till now, the new movie from the franchise has received mixed reviews from the audience. Rotten Tomato has a 60 percent rating for the film.
The storyline of the film goes like this; “Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).”
Fans are eagerly waiting for the film which is all set to release here in India in August!
