Bollywood diva and winner of Bigg Boss 7 Gauahar Khan finally got married to boyfriend Zaid Darbar on Friday in the presence of close friends and family. The couple took the plunge in a traditional nikkah ceremony. Among the guests present at their wedding were Gauahar’s sister Nigar Khan, best friend and television producer Preeti Simoes and Zaid’s father Ismail Darbar. Both Zaid and Gauahar twinned in royal ivory outfits.
While Zaid looked dashing in a sherwani, Gauahar was one of the prettiest brides dressed up in a heavily-worked lehenga. Social media is buzzing with Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar’s wedding festivities. The #Gaza wedding is hitting the town and we are waiting to see Gauahar turned as a bride. Well, as it was musical mehendi night for Gauahar and Zaid on December 24, 2020, how can we not expect her music composer father-in-law, Ismail Darbar, to sing his famous song Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se Aah Nikalti Rahi.
Prior to the D-Day, the couple had shared an animated video on their Instagram handles depicting their ‘lockdown love story’. They said that it was ‘love at first beep’ for them and that they had started off as friends who went to the grocery store together.
Earlier this month, they had announced their wedding date stating, “The year 2020 has been anything but ordinary and our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever!”
While fans had been speculating for quite some months, Gauahar and Zaid made their relationship official on November 5, when they had announced their engagement. We wish the stunning couple all the very best for a happy married life.
