This news is reported from a village in Tarikere Taluk where a wedding ceremony was held. The story depicts a groom who fled from his wedding venue leaving the bride’s family shocked. However, what happened next is more shocking. The bride married a guest present at the wedding venue. The incident is of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka.
Two brothers, Ashok and Naveen, were scheduled to get married on Sunday at the same venue. Naveen and his bride Sindhu enjoyed the pre-wedding rituals on Saturday. However, when the marriage day arrived, Naveen disappeared.
After investigation, it turned out that Naveen ran away with his girlfriend who threatened to spoil his wedding by drinking poison in front of the wedding guests. Thenafter, Naveen decided to meet his girlfriend in Tumakuru, leaving his bride-to-be Sindhu alone in the wedding hall named Bangalore Mirror.
On the other hand, Naveen’s brother Ashok tied the knot with his bride while Sindhu’s family was still in shock. As Sindhu was left heartbroken and could not be consoled, her family decided to get her married then and there. They thought of finding a suitable groom from the wedding hall itself.
Surprisingly, Sindhu’s family found a suitable groom for her. A guest named Chandrappa, who works as a BMTC conductor, agreed to marry Sindhu. Chandrappa had witnessed the events of the day unfold in front of him and volunteered to marry her if both the families agreed to their union.
Once the families agreed, Sindhu and Chandrappa took their wedding vows at the same venue on the same day. The story seems to be quite dramatic but it’s true. These little anecdotes make us feel happy for some time.
India is a country of varieties among diversities. There are many cases occurring everyday similar to this. We hope for a happy and beautiful life for all the couples in the incident.
