To offer affordable care to all, the Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib committee has announced to open their diagnostic facility within the premises. The treatment will be offered from December this year and it will be very helpful for people who need to undergo tests at affordable prices.
According to the reports, the patients will need to pay a basic fee of Rs 150 for ultrasounds and Rs 50 for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan. ‘The initiative intends to help people who do not have the necessary means to pay for expensive tests like an MR’, said Arvinder Singh Soni, chairman of liver transplant at Medanta and Sir HN Reliance Foundation.

Along with this, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has said that they will open a dialysis center soon for the patients. Patients can undergo a kidney checkup for Rs 600 at the gurudwara premises.

The dialysis will be performed using advanced machines which cost around Rs 6 crores that have been donated to the commitee. Needy people will need to pay a fee of Rs 50 and for other people, the fees will be Rs 800. A committee of doctors has also formed to manage things properly and to identify who requires more concession in the medical treatments.
