Hina Khan flew to the holy cities Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah. She added few pictures from the holy cities on her Instagram from the mosque. In reaction to her posts, a certain section of netizens slammed the actress for ‘doing a photoshoot’ at masjid. One of the user also reminded her that ‘it is not a ramp but a masjid’.
In the latest post, Hina shared about her experience on doing Umrah and stated that she should have started her journey with Medina instead of Mecca. However, as per her plan, she completed all three of her Umrahs.
The actress, in her caption, also addressed the trolls targeting her. She concluded her caption saying, “And to all those people who have been judging me left right and centre under my religious postsโฆAll I can say is, I am no saint but I truly believe in Neeyat, kindness and good karma, good deeds.. Baaki aap sab ko apne karma ka khud jawaab dena hai oopar.”
Not just Hina, but many celebrities from the film fraternity has been to Saudi Arabia for Umrah including Aly Goni and Asim Riaz. Former badminton player Sania Mirza also shared pictures from her trip to the holy cities of SA.
