Since it is the season of various foods, making pickles also comes handy. As we all are letting our inner chefs out in the world, it’s time we try our hands on some delicious pickles now.
It is not at all time consuming to make some tasty pickle. However, it might take some time to get tasty pickle prepared as you need to lay that in the sun for a few days. Let’s get our hands on an amazing pickle recipe.

You will need 1 cup of tamarind, 2 cups of water, mustard seeds and some cooking oil, 1/4th tbs of paparika powder, 1tbs of jaggery powder, 1tbs of salt, 500g tomatoes, 2 dried chillies, 1 tbs fenugreek seeds, 1/4th tbs of turmeric powder, curry leaves, and garlic and cloves (peeled).
Add the tamarind in a big bowl and add water. Soak it for 30 mins. Then blend it into paste. Take a pan and pour some mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds and dry roast them. Then grind them into powder. Take a pan and put some oil, add tomato and cook for 7 minutes. Then add the tamarind paste and mix along with turmeric powder, paprika, salt, ground seeds (mustard and fenugreek) and mix well.
Add 2tbs jaggery and mix well. Let it cook till the jaggery melts into the tomatoes, and the spices are properly cooked. Add 20-25 garlic cloves. Mix well.
Transfer it to a different container and let it cool. Enjoy your home made pickle.
