Honey Singh seeks police protection post receiving alleged death threats from Goldie Brar

Singer-rapper Honey Singh has claimed that he has received death threats from Goldie Brar. The latter along with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi were allegedly involved in the death of singer Sidhu Moosewala. In an interaction with the reporters, on Wednesday, the singer has said that he has requested for police protection as he is ‘really scared’.

The gangsters Goldie and Lawrence were allegedly involved with the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu, who was shot dead in his car, in Punjab’s Mana district on May 29 last year. The responsibility for the murder was claimed by Canada based gangster Goldie Brar, who is a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

While speaking to India TV, Honey Singh shared that he and his staff members have been receiving calls that claims to be from Goldie Brar. The singer added, “I have requested CP sir to give me security and investigate this. I am really scared.”

When asked about details, Honey said that he has submitted evidence and would not share the insights as the matter is getting investigated. He added that he has always received love and this is the first time when someone has sent death threats to him, which has not only scared him, but his whole family. However, he revealed that the call he received was from an international number.
