Isha Ambani, the daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, wore a black saree gown at the Met Gala. She walked the red carpet in a stunning black silk saree gown by Prabal Gurung.
Isha’s ensemble has a black silk fabric draped over one shoulder, as well as thousands of crystals and pearl shand-embellishments extended into a floor-length train. She kept her hair straight and wore minimal makeup for the glam. She made her debut at the fashion show in a Christian Dior gown in 2017 and again in a lilac Prabal Gurung outfit in 2019.
The Met Gala Livestream is hosted by actor and producer La La Anthony, writer Derek Blasberg and Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman. Emma Chamberlain, the internet’s multi-hyphenate, will return as Vogue’s special reporter. This year’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, which is based on a new Costume Institute exploring the work of the iconic designer. Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85, spent decades designing outfits for Balmain, Patou, Chloe, Fendi and Chanel, in addition to his own label.
