Japan overwhelmed over Baahubali’s Kumar Varma, now an emoticon in Japan

If we question about your preferred character from SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali, you would possibly answer the characters comprising Baahubali, Kattappa, Bhallaladev, Sivagami, Avantika, Devasena or Baladeva.

But Japan gets overwhelmed over Kumar Varma. Not only this, it has turned out to be an emoticon there.

If you cannot remember, Kumar Varma – a role donned by well-known actor Subbaraju – was Baahubali and Devasena’s confidante. He donned the noteworthy character in the super duper hit flick. Subbaraju played the role with complete devotion.

In contrast, SS Rajamouli is overjoyed with the reaction Baahubali 2 is getting in the country.

“The love for movies surpasses boundaries,” Rajamouli tweeted a few months back.

Rajamouli ss tweeted, “So happy to meet all the fans and film enthusiasts who made it to the #Baahubali2 screaming screening in Tokyo, Japan last night. The love for movies surpasses boundaries…  Happy day.. :)”

In recent times too, Rajamouli expressed gratitude towards all his Japanese buffs for such love and raised in Japan. He also thanked all Japanese buffs for sending him home with hordes of presents.

SS Rajamouli’s masterwork ‘Baahubali’ got immense love not only in India but also all over the world.

The movie has created many records, which that no other movie could in the past of Indian films.

He took to Instagram and wrote: “It’s been a week since we came back home from Japan. Thanks to Baahubali, we had a chance to visit many countries. But Japan became our most favorite. I can’t ever forget the reception they gave us, and the love they showered on us and our film. Incredible. They sent me home with lots of gift packs. We just started unboxing one by one and it brought a wide smile on my face again.”

He added that each and every gift they got is “exclusive” and “wonderful”.

“Every gift we got and every art made was so unique and amazing. Thanks for all your efforts; it really means a lot to us. I feel truly blessed. Didn’t want to open #Prabhas, @Ranadaggubati’s gifts. We will unbox them once we all meet. Thank you so much Japan. Loads of love.”
