On Saturday, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram account to slam Nitesh Tiwari for casting of his upcoming movie Ramayana. For the role of Lord Ram, the filmmaker has roped in Ranbir Kapoor, to whom the actress has referred to as “skinny white rat.”
In her Instagram Story, Kangana slammed the “so called actor” as someone who desperately need some sun tan. The actress claimed that Ranbir need conscience that he is famous for his nasty PR activity for everyone in the industry. Kangana also accused him of “womanising and drug addiction.” She further added that he was “desperately” trying to prove himself as Lord Shiva, hinting towards actor’s Brahmastra, he is now fancying to be Lord Rama.
Further ahead, Kangana also criticised the casting for Ravana. She stated that the actor who has been offered the role of Ravana is a young self-made superstar from the South, who is a “devoted family man and traditionalist.” She believes that the young actor is more suitable for the role of Lord Ram, instead of some “pale looking druggie soy boy.”
Recently, the news circulated that Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has been postponed, however, those were rubbished by producer Madhu Mantena.
If the reports are to be believed, Alia Bhatt has replaced Sai Pallavi to play the role of Goddess Sita. A source, as per Pinkvilla, has also confirmed her casting and stated that the actress was filmmaker’s first choice.
