"Manikarnika will make every Indian Proud. I am ecstatic to showcase the teaser to everyone on the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti" – #KanganaRanaut #ManikarnikaTeaserTomorrow @zeestudiosofficial #kamaljain Krish Jagarlamudi @lokhandeankita #ZeeshanAyyub @senguptajisshu #Manikarnika #ZeeStudios #ootd #regal #warrior #RaniLaxmiBai
When Kangana was asked about her character in the movie, she said, “When you talk about Lakshmibai, she was the general of an army. She was an extraordinary woman. How many clashes she faced in the prime of her youth! So it would be a shame to try to get into character superficially through clothes, make-up, hairstyles and jewellery. And if you give blood to play such a woman, it’s worth it. To be honest, I’m only happy. You can t hope to immortalise the greatest brave lady of all times without having a battle scar on your face.”
The aura, royalty braveness and fierceness of Rani Lakshmi Bai is constructed in the most authentic way possible. Everyone is excited to see Kangana in an empowering an inspiring role. The teaser of the film will be releasing on 2 October, Gandhi Jayanti. The viewers are really excited and geared up to see Kangana as playing a role of fierce queen for the first time.
