Kapil Sharma reveals how he spent Rs. 9 lakh in Maldives due to a drunk tweet

Kapil Sharma, on Wednesday, broke the news of his new show which will be streaming on Netflix ‘Kapil Sharma: I Am Not Done Yet’. He also shared a small video from the show.

Sharing the clip, the comedian wrote, “Don’t tell Netflix that I have leaked footage Kapil Sharma: I Am Not Done Yet!”

In the video, he cracks jokes about his trip to Maldives. He said that on reaching Maldives, he requested the hotel staff to give him a room without internet. To which the hotel staff questioned, if he visited the place after getting married. “I came here because I posted it on Twitter,” Kapil replied to hotel staff.

He further revealed that he spent Rs. 9 lakh in Maldives, which was more expensive than his entire education. Talking further, he joked that he would have sued Twitter. “Sometimes when politician posts a tweet, Twitter marks it as a manipulated tweet. Even with my tweet, they could’ve marked it as, ‘Drunk tweet just ignore him’.” He adds that that move by the micro-blogging app could have saved him a lot of money.

Ranveer Singh reacted to the video by commenting, “too goo paaji. Can’t wait to watch it.” Comedian’s colleague on the show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ Sumona Chakravarti also reacted with a heart emoji.
