The big day for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has arrived! Celebrities like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Isha Ambani, and many others came arrived at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer two days ago to attend Sidharth and Kiara’s marriage. Pre-wedding functions like haldi, sangeet, and mehendi have already taken place, and the couple is expected to get married this evening. It will be followed by a wedding reception. The couple will take the pheras in the Suryagarh Palace’s ‘Bawdi,’ which is located in the hotel’s centre.
The Bawdi is designed like a traditional step-well. A mandap-like area in the centre is surrounded by four pillars, and four narrow corridors on each side leading to it. The pheras will take place in the central area, with amphitheater-like stepped seatings surrounding it for the guests to sit. The open-air space is just perfect for musical nights and intimate weddings. There is a large lawn space on either side of the Bawdi that can accommodate many guests.
