Colours television show Kasam Tere Pyar Ki starring Kratika Sengar and Ssharad Malhotra- is going to off air soon as the show is not getting the TRP on BARC India’s list. Despite all the twists and turns in the show, the makers still don’t get the viewership. The story of the show seems to be repetitive and the audience is fed up with the same game plan. But still, if there is something that is being loved about the show is the romance and on-screen chemistry of Kratika and Ssharad.

And here’s a bad news for the loyal fans as the channel has decided to pull the plugs on the show soon.

The makers of the show decided to take a leap and with new characters and cast, they failed to impress the audience as well as the channel.

According to reports of TOI, a source told them, “We got an extension a few months ago. However, a change in the programming strategy has led to this overnight decision of pulling the plug on the show. Those behind this decision are of the opinion that the show has lived its course and shouldn’t be dragged any further”. Ssharad also confirmed the news and told the same, “Yes, it is true that the show is ending. I learnt about the development today”.

Talking about Kratika Sengar, she tied the knot with Nikitin Dheer and always keeps her fans updated about her personal life. Earlier she rubbished her pregnancy rumours and said, “I just returned from a scuba diving trip. Had I been pregnant, my doctor would not have allowed it”.

Earlier, in an interview, the actress had stated that her husband Nikitin wasn’t happy with her intimate scenes on the show with her co-star. She said, “It’s true that he doesn’t like to see me getting intimate with another actor on screen. It is natural; after all, he is my husband. Another reason, which I feel is valid, is that he doesn’t like to see me crying all the time. And with daily soaps, there is a lot of rona-dhona! In a marriage, we have to accommodate each other’s views. I won’t do anything that would hurt him”.
