Om Raut’s Adipurush faced backlash over the bad quality of VFX and visuals since its teaser was released in October. As of late, Om, had taken to social media to announce that the arrival of the Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon movie has been shifted to June one year from now, instead of January. Presently, Kriti has talked about the criticism the Adipurush teaser confronted, and said the movie’s team is ‘extremely proud of’ the product it has created.
During a recent event, while promoting her forthcoming movie Bhediya with co-star Varun Dhawan, the actress was inquired about Adipurush’s release getting postponed after the makers confronted backlash for the amateurish CGI and VFX, in addition to other things. A video from the recent event was posted on Reddit, where Kriti said that as Om Raut, her director, has mentioned in the note that was brought out, it is a movie that we all are very much proud of. She added that it is a movie which is of “grand canvas; it is a part of our history and is extremely important.” She said that it needs to be put out in the correct way and in the best way possible because that’s what the director likewise had envisioned.
The actress also added that the teaser was limited, only 1 min 35-second teaser came out. There is much more to the movie that the director needs to work upon, and needs time. She said that we all want to give it the best shot since this is an opportunity to get our history, to get our religion globally out there. “It is a story that we all are proud of, so it needs to be done in the best possible way.” According to the actress, she thinks the director is going to give it all the talent that it needs, and all the effort it needs because the heart and the soul are in the right place.
