PUBG Mobile India which recently announced its relaunch in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India said on Friday that the long awaited pre-registrations will begin on May 18.
Krafton, developer of the app said, “the game would offer a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience and fans can enjoy exclusive in-game events like outfits.” However, the game will be allowed to play only within India scrapping the dreams of any international gaming tournament. This is to ensure cyber security and privacy protocols.
For the pre-registration, one can use Google Play app store and simply click on pre-registration following which users rewards would be automatically available to claim during the game launch. The date for launch hasn’t been announced yet. It is a free-to-play game with some tweaks for Indian audience. It has not been decided yet whether the app will be available on iOS device.
The South Korean based Krafton has set up a dedicated website for the upcoming Battlegrounds India mobile title. Earlier this month, the company launched the teaser and the poster making the fans ecstatic and enthusiastic about the game launch. The title features Sanhok map which was added to PUBG game in September 2018.
The original game PUBG was banned in India along with 552 other apps considering the Indo-China conflict on the borders and online security crisis. The new game Battleground India has ensured that security and privacy are their top priority in India.
