As per latest reports, well known personality Lasith Malinga is madly in love with an event manager.

Yes, this is true.

The personality who has a number of records in the world of cricket, got bowled over by his companion and an event manager, Tanya Perera.

The super star pace-man boasts of the record of dismissing all top notch cricket player comprising Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

A lot of batsmen were afraid to confront his bowls.

The reports stated that he met the love of his life Tanya while doing a commercial. It was that special instant when Malinga’s heart said that this was his real love.

Tanya Minoli Perera belongs to Matara and she went to Vishaka Vidyalaya Colombo, and completed her A/L’s in Commerce stream.

Later, Tanya completed her higher studies in Management and commenced her profession as a Banker and afterward joined a private firm as the Public Relations Manageress.

Tanya Minoli Perera’s dad was residing in USA, she was making plans to visit there to carry on her higher studies when she met the love of her life that eventually end as a companion of a fabulous cricketer.

Tanya once discloed: “Lasith and I met during an ad shoot. We exchanged numbers and we started talking to each other on a daily basis. Before, I could understand anything; I had fallen head over heels for him.”

Within a year, the superb personality made the proposal to Tanya.

Afterward, Lasith and Tanya tied the nuptial knot on 22nd February 2010 and currently they have children.

In addition, Lasith Malinga is ready to exit cricket after playing the 1st game of the 3-match ODI series in contradiction of Bangladesh, that started on July 26.

Team skipper Dimuth Karunaratne confirmed, “He is going to play the first match. After that he is retiring. That’s what he said to me. I don’t know what he said for the selectors but for me he said he is playing only one match.”
