On Tuesday, she came out with a post about “empathy” and the power of optimism during such epidemic times. She borrowed lyrics from Raffi’s One Light, One Sun, and wrote: “One light, one sun… one sun lighting everyone. Staying connected with you all, and seeing the incredible power of empathy and shared humanity, one can’t help but see a ray of hope.”
Mira Rajput has been sharing necessary information about the pandemic helplines and facilities and also wrote “Let’s be consistent, motivated and determined to continue and do this together. My stories are our stories.”
As per the latest updates, India has recorded 3.23 lakh fresh pandemic cases and almost 2,771 dxxths in the last 24 hours. India is battling its second pandemic wave and a sudden and steep rise in cases has triggered a shortage of Oxygen in Delhi and some other states. Requests for help are being sent out by top medical houses in India. The patients and their family and friends are also asking for help in the midst of medical oxygen shortage and beds at medical facilities.
Other Bollywood stars such as Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu, and others, have also been using social media to share verified pandemic information. Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in London, also tweeted on Tuesday morning, saying, “My heart breaks.”
