Mouni Roy is currently on cloud nine since she will marry her boyfriend Suraj Nambiar in a few days. The couple has set the dates of January 26 and 27 for their wedding services. They had planned a big wedding in Goa with many industry friends but due to the increase in coronavirus cases, the situation is not favorable for them. So they had to reduce the guest list to 50 people. There is now a report from ETimes that the couple has canceled their wedding reception in Mumbai.
According to ETimes, Mouni and Suraj had organized a reception for their friends and colleagues in the industry. However, in view of the increase in COVID-19 cases, they canceled the party. They do not wish to put anyone’s life in danger. The reports added that the actress’s family and close friends will attend the wedding in Goa. The actress has planned a Bengali and South Indian style wedding as she wants to incorporate the rituals of both regions on her big day.
While the sangeet and a Bengali wedding will take place on January 26, the couple will exchange vows in South Indian style the following day. Suraj is a South Indian and the couple wanted their wedding to be a mix of Bengali and South Indian rituals.
On the work front, Mouni will soon be back on television after five years as a judge in the fifth season of Dance India Dance Li’l Masters.
