Nepal’s PM, KP Sharma Oli has blamed that India wants to topple his government by plotting plans against him after his government issued a new map showing India’s parts as Nepal’s land. KP Sharma Oli’s govt showed India areas including Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura as their internal locations.
While addressing people during the 69th birth anniversary of late Madan Bhandari at his residence in Kathmandu, he said: “I did not commit any mistake by claiming our land, which has been snatched from us for the past 58 years after Nepal enjoyed the rights over these areas for 146 years”.
This whole issue come under the light when Nepal issued its new map and showed Indian territories as their maps. India has shown high disappointment over their gesture. He also blamed India for the growing infection spread in Nepal as numerous tourists from India visit their country.
KP Sharma Oli further said the Indian government and media channels want to disturb his government amid this tough time as it’s giving more support to the opposition party of Nepal.
This issue got highlighted when India inaugurated an 80-km-long road connecting Lipulekh pass with Dharchula in Uttarakhand. Nepal raised questions over this move. To which, India has said, the project has been completed within its territory.
