Pakistan plane crash: 97 lost their lives and only 2 survive after hitting homes in Karachi

An airplane coming from Lahore to Karachi crashed due to engine failure took 97 lives. Civil aviation officials in Pakistan confirmed this figure and only 2 people have survived from this severe plane crash. The plane was of Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) which got crashed near the southern port city of Karachi.

The pilots did multiple approaches for landing the plane but ultimately failed and it got crashed hitting homes in Karachi. According to the report, more than 25 houses got damaged in this crash. All the bodies and passengers and crew have been recovered, said Pakistani authority.

Sindh Health Ministry has said that out of 97, 19 people have been identified and the bodies have been sent to the near medical center. Pakistani International Airlines said the aircraft suddenly lost contact with ATC after 2:30 pm. The exact cause of engine failure has not been revealed yet as the team has started the investigation.

People were coming to Karachi for celebrating Eid with their families and many people were from the villages near the Karachi area. After locals noticed fumes and flames, they immediately informed the fire department and it took hours for the authorities to clean the debris and take our bodies from the plane.
