Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj exactly knows how to put a simple story in a most enthralling way. This weekend will take you to the roller coaster of emotions and a journey of some rural area’s people as Pataakha and Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, two major movies released. Before deciding your way to which movie, here we came with the review of Pataakha- a journey of two sister who shares a hate-hate relationship just like any other real-life sisters.

Vishal Bhardwaj is back as the helmer of Pataakha which stars Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Madan, and Sunil Grover. While a lot said at the time of trailer release that the director revealed too much in the trailer itself so let us tell you- the movie is, a lot more than just the trailer.

The story is all about the two sisters (Chutki and Bhadki aka Sanya and Radhika) who throughout tried to prove that no one is less than other. If you haven’t gone through the trailer, please watch the trailer you’ll get an idea of how this movie is going to take the twist and turns.

Moreover, Vishal has come up with an honest and sensible movie which is worth a watch. In our minds, we all have a ‘not so true image’ of siblings which is all love and no hate and credits go to the Sooraj Barjatya movies. On the other hand, Vishal’s story is quirky and relatable as it is based on the rural side of the country.

Sanya and Radhika are the ladiesss…of this movie while Sunil Grover is a heartthrob and is going to win everyone’s heart playing the Naradmuni between these sisters. Comparing the sisters, you will connect more with Sanya emotional yet Radhika will be seen more convincing as an elder sister. As told above, the star of this movie is Sunil Grover.

The first half of the movie is hilarious while the left half consists the plot which has twists where Vijay Raaz as the distressed father acts as the brilliant supporting cast to the trio.

Music will keep you connected with the movie’s ambiance. The second half is a bit slower and the end will be revealed by Sunil earlier than it comes visually. The connection will break here although you are going to enjoy the movie to its fullest as this is the new era of content where it’s more relatable and honest.

We bet Sanya, Sunil, and debutant Radhika will leave their trails of impactful and outstanding performances.
