Actress Priyanka Chopra is the mother of a baby girl, this year in January she welcomed her daughter through Surrogacy. Ever since Priyanka Chopra’s stylist’s daughter Krishna Sky was born: Priyanka has been very close to her. However, when she became Miss World and was on her way to become an actor, she found an abandoned girl during her growing up years and wanted to keep her and for that she asked her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra to let the baby stay with them. Eventually Priyanka carries the baby in her arms before handling her to the childless couple.
Priyanka shared the story in her memoir Unfinished. It was from the time when the actor woke up one night to see what the commotion in her house was all about.
Priyanka wrote in her book that when my Grandmother came to live with us when Sid was born. She was talking to my mother in very low voice. I woke up to see what was going on in my house then I saw my mom Madhu Chopra in the kitchen holding a new born little girl in her arms. She told me that after the delivery when she came to her car in the parking lot, she heard the sound of crying. She looked here and there then she find the new born baby girl crying under the vehicle and this makes her completely shocked, while the rain was about to come my mother take the baby home with her. I desperately wanted to keep the baby with us but my mother somehow convinced me and explained me that we couldn’t.
Priyanka told that her mother Madhu Chopra had decided that she will give that baby to a childless couple. After a lot of paper works, finally that girl went to the childless couple and that couple was so thankful that on the day of Janmashtami, a baby girl came in their life. There was a lot of storm and rain that day.
Priyanka currently lives with actor-singer husband Nick Jonas and their daughter in Los Angeles. She will next be seen in Ending Things, It’s All Coming Back To Me, Citadel and Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa.
