Raj Kundra avoided arrest by bribing Mumbai Crime Branch officers, as reports suggested

Raj Kundra was accused and arrested in the case of producing and publishing pornographic films allegedly. The bribe was given to the Mumbai Crime Branch officers avoiding the arrest, as the report suggested. The anti-corruption cops have informed that the case was registered in March and was sent to Mumbai police in April, who were still not taking any action regarding the case.

As reported by Mid-day, The complaint was registered with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) from the firm of Arvind Srivastava alias Yash Thakur named as the kingpin of the racket. The case was registered in the early month of March this year and was forwarded to the Mumbai police chief’s office in April by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. When asked by the city officers they refused to comment on this matter. On Wednesday suddenly Crime Branch took an action and raided Raj Kundra’s Andheri office.

Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday in the case of allegedly producing and publishing a pornographic movie by the Property Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch. The complaint was made by Fitz movies (which was earlier known as Nuefliks) a US-based film. Police named the firm in March and two companies were also seized by the police of it’s owner Srivastava’s bank account which was having a handsome sum of Rs 4.50 crore. The accounts were made to open in the branches of Kanpur and Indore.
