WhatsApp chats of Raj Kundra have been leaked and they suggest that businessman Raj Kundra who was recently arrested in an alleged pornography racket was in talks with a group about a ‘Plan B’ in place after the app store took down his app ‘Hotshots’, due to policy violations, police sources revealed on Wednesday. Raj Kundra’s  ‘Plan B’ was to launch another app to carry on the illegal business of producing and circulating pornographic content.

Raj Kundra who is the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was arrested by the Crime Brach of Mumbai Police on Monday night in a case related to pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. He has been remanded police custody till July 23. At least four screenshots of purported WhatsApp chats have surfaced on social media in which Kundra was allegedly seen discussing the ‘Plan B’ with another member on ‘H ACCOUNTS’ group, the sources said.

As reported by TOI, in the leaked chats, a member of the group posted a screenshot of an email which was sent by the Google Play Store Team about the status of the app ‘Hotshots’. Kundra replied, “…Plan B started max 2-3 weeks the new app will be live iOS and Android it’s a blessing.”

There was also a discussion about removing “extremely bold content” from the platform, for the time being.

Raj Kundra’s company Viaan Industries had a tie-up with a London-based company Kenrin which owned ‘Hotshots’, the app in question.  Due to its objectionable content, ‘Hotshots’ had been suspended by Google Play Store and Apple App Store last year.
